FOOTPRINTS ACROSS TIME

The History Design Studio presents "Footprints Across Time," a group exhibition featuring work by Anselmo Cassiano Alves, Ron E. Armstead, Charity Everett, Cristina Florea, C Dale Gadsden, Rayshauna Capri Gray, Anthony W. Lanier, Brandon Mancilla, Tim Weiskel, Thank You Tees, and Anna Wexler.

Over the past year, eleven designers convened in the History Design Studio Workshop to develop, interpret, integrate, and apply new forms historical narration to stories and research that exceed written language. In “Footprints Across Time,” we honor this commitment to rigorous historical methods by way of experimental and iterative design processes. The projects span a variety of media and subject matter that reflect the diverse perspectives, experiences, and talents of our cohort. Many offerings are samples of work that exist far beyond the walls of the gallery.

We invite you to join us as we celebrate our ongoing journeys to create our own footprint—as designers and historians—while recovering, imagining, and amplifying those of many others.
